Roster Departs as Season Ends
With the ending of the 2024 BSC season, Pale Fox Esports has announced that their Brawl Stars roster has left the organisation. Both the playing and behind-the-scenes staff have become free agents with the ending of their contract this month.
The roster of PineappleZ, TheMeg, and A, backed up by a staff of Soufi and Royal is the most successful roster in Pale Fox Esports history having laid down some impressive results. Memories of a slow start to the season were quickly wiped away when the May Monthly Qualifier saw the team knock out both F/A Kebap and FUT Esports, but fall to a narrow defeat against SK Gaming in a win-and-in final-round match.
In June’s Monthly Qualifier, the roster went one step further and achieved one of the season’s major targets – qualification to a Monthly Final. Nine wins and one loss for both Pale Fox Esports and one of Europe’s top-ranked teams, Reply Totem, had them facing each other in a nail-biting final-round match. Shaking off the previous month’s defeat, and backed by vocal online support, a 2-1 win for PFE sent the team into the finals. Ultimately though, it wasn’t to be, as the roster slipped to a 3-1 defeat to Team Ogurchiki at the top eight stage of the Monthly Final.
Speaking about the roster update, Pale Fox Esports’ Dragonfly said: “This season has been a brilliant experience, and the guys achieved some great things. Some of the runs we had in the BSC events were awesome, and knocking out teams like FUT Esports and Reply Totem shows the quality the guys have.
“There were memories made this year that will genuinely last a lifetime. All good things must end though, and though it’s a shame, sometimes that’s how things work in esports. I couldn’t have wished for a better group of people to represent us this year.
“We want to say a proper, public thank you to the guys for how they’ve been since they joined us – the players and the staff have been nothing but first class. Wherever their career takes them in the future, we’ll be cheering for them and keeping an eye on how they do. The guys deserve success and I’m sure they’ll go on to do some great things.”
