PFE Clinch Monthly Finals Spot

Pale Fox Esports’ Brawl Stars roster clinched their Monthly Final debut after a stunning 2-1 victory over Reply Totem in Round 16 of last weekend’s qualifiers.

Having knocked out F/A Kebap and FUT Esports in the May Monthly Qualifier, but falling in the final round to a narrow defeat against SK Gaming, PFE came into this month’s edition of the event knowing they were able to take on Europe’s best teams.

The June Monthly Qualifiers began with seven back-to-back 2-0 wins for Pale Fox Esports, which brought to an end the first day of the weekend-long marathon event. HMBLE awaited in the opening match of day two, with the winner needing just one more victory to claim an automatic place in the finals. But it was HMBLE who took the win with a deserved 2-0, knocking PFE down into the lower bracket.

The lower bracket was where PFE had come so close in the previous month’s qualifiers, but glory awaited at the end of this one! The team produced two excellent 2-0 wins over Paradis Esports and F/A Resurgent before facing up against Reply Totem in a win-and-in decider.

A phenomenal Heist performance in the match’s opening set saw Pale Fox Esports take a 1-0 match lead after a 2-0 win. However, Reply Totem answered straight back, taking a 2-1 win in set two after largely dominating in Hot Zone, despite PFE going 1-0 up. That set put both teams within just one of the Monthly Finals, but the performance in the Brawl Ball set from the PFE team meant they took a flawless 2-0 victory. The full match VOD is available here.

Speaking about the team’s performance, Pale Fox Esports’ Dragonfly said: “The guys have worked so hard for this and it’s fully deserved. The players should be really proud of what they achieved. All the way through the qualifiers, they were excellent, just like they were last month. We’ve caused some upsets in the last few months and this weekend was yet another one, but we’ve gone one step further this time.

“Reply Totem are obviously a top, top team with players who have played on the biggest stage, but we deserved that win and we deserved the spot in the Monthly Finals. In esports, you don’t always get what you deserve, and so I’m happy that it worked out for us this time. Making it to our first-ever Monthly Finals gives us another chance to show what we can do!”
