Players in Nations League Action

Pale Fox Esports’ A has been named in the squad to represent Team United Kingdom in the upcoming finals of the Brawl Stars Nations League, following on from PineappleZ who represented his native Finland in the qualifiers.

The Brawl Stars Nations League brings together teams from each of the game’s regions to compete for glory, and 22 different countries will be taking part in the finals. Groups of three or four nations will battle it out for the top two spots to progress onto the playoffs, with the eventual winner being named as the champions of their region.

Pale Fox Esports’ sole representative in the finals will be A, the Brit who was named among Team United Kingdom’s squad earlier this evening. He will play alongside Canaan from Team Hmble, former BC* Gaming player Tomzy, and Enraged in Group A of the EU section of the tournament.

PineappleZ – who played for Finland – came close to making it two PFE players at the finals after he helped his country to achieve a third-place finish in the last open qualifying event at the end of May. That qualifier saw Finland beat both the Netherlands and Turkey 2-1 before a clean 2-0 win against Greece. They went on to lose to the tournament’s eventual winners, Czechia, 0-2 before another defeat to Romania ended their hopes of qualification for the finals.

The Full Draw for the Brawl Stars Nations League was:
EU Group A: Czechia, Germany, United Kingdom, and Ukraine
EU Group B: Spain, Italy, Poland, and France
NA Group A: Puerto Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, and El Salvador
NA Group B: Costa Rica, United States, Mexico, and Canada
LATAM Group A: Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay
LATAM Group B: Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru

Speaking about the players representing their country, Pale Fox Esports’ Dragonfly said: “It’s always good to see competitions like this happening… the community comes together to support their national team and players have the chance to fly the flag. There are so many good players across Europe from different orgs in teams together for this event and I think it’s going to be really close.

“PineappleZ did well with Finland in the qualifying event and they finished up in third – not far off qualifying. A will be playing for the UK when the finals kick-off, and it’s nice to have a bit of PFE representation there. We’re an org based in the UK so having a player also playing for the team… we know who we’ll be supporting!”
